Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd's combat sport journey began at 14 years old. Aspen Ladd started training in kickboxing, BJJ, wrestling and boxing before her debut as an amateur at WCFC aged 18. Ladd was able to continue building upon her win during Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won three consecutive fights. She finished all of her opponents in the first round. Then, she went to WCFC to win again, beating Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia B beghian and Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia dominated Aspen to defeat her in a unanimous decision, putting the mark of a loss on Aspen's records for amateur. Ladd rebounded from the loss to defeat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight one. Aspen was signed to Invicta FC in 2015 to begin her career as a professional. Invicta 11, she was able to slay Ana Carolina Vidal to score an KO early in the round. Invicta Combat Championships 16, Aspen won the next match with Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission by armbar. Aspen used the superior skills she had learned in wrestling to beat McGill. She ended her bout via TKO (3rd round) (elbows and punches). Aspen was then in a fight with Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, weighing weight of catchweight (138.1lb), as Ladd did not have enough weight. In spite of this, Aspen was able to take on Hoy. She won by KO in the 2nd round. Invicta FC 21, she took her victory in the final bout of the promotion with a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd's UFC debut came in UFC Fight Night 118 when she took on Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina and ground-and-pounded her in the second round to secure a TKO victory. She repeated her dominance and scored an even amazing victory in her subsequent match against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229. Ladd defeated Evinger within the first minute and received a bonus for her performance during the night. Invicta FC's Sijara Ebanks was her opponent for the rematch that took place at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was her first big fight. The victory of Ladd was a unanimous decision and her Fight of the Night award went to the two fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd in just 16 seconds to end her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya, in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's third round, lost to Randamie. Her most recent bout for the UFC she was a part of Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 in a rematch fight. She lost by unanimous decision.
